Fuld says government denied Lehman while helping Wall St - Yahoo! Finance: "There are a few here who defend Wall Street for the financial crisis and try to shift the blame to someone else, but I think the real crooks are Wall Street. Government is inept, but what would you have done when the economy was about to fall off a cliff - let it fall? The government had to save it and did - Bush started it and then Obama. Remember how worried Bush looked? I'm glad we're in a recession and not a depression. My business is off 10% but I can survive that. I couldn't survive a 50% drop. There are even some who blame Main Street. Blaming Main Street for being cheated by Wall Street is like blaming the victim for getting robbed or blaming Madoff's clients because he stole their money. At this point, I would let Wall Street go down the tubes. Someone like Warren Buffett would step up and replace it. The other big culprit is the Chamber of Commerce who has spent millions lobbying against efforts to stop illegal immigration, which means they support illegal immigration. They have also spent millions lobbying against requiring illegals to be able to to read English because it would be an inconvenience. Would anyone reading this expect ot go to another country and get a drivers license without being able to read street signs?. If you oppose illegal immigration you should be careful not to vote for someone who is backed by the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber wants cheap labor and it is destroying the Middle Class. They get cheap labor but the rest of us will be hurt by it."
